Most of the time 7Bit Casino isn't down. What's usually happened is your ISP has stopped resolving the domain, an ad blocker has eaten a script, or a browser extension is interfering with the login. Genuine platform-wide outages are rare and short.
Below: what happens to a spin that dies mid-round, the error codes worth recognising, and the checks that sort a local problem from a real one before you waste an hour in a support queue.
What happens to your spin if it drops out
This is the question that actually worries people, so let's deal with it first. Your spin is resolved on the game provider's server, not in your browser. If the connection dies halfway through an animation, the outcome has already been decided and recorded on their side. Reconnect and the result is applied to your balance.
In practice you'll see one of two things when you get back in. Either the balance already reflects the spin, or the game reopens on an unfinished round and asks you to continue — common with bonus rounds and free spin features, which stay parked until you finish them. Neither is a bug.
Live dealer is different. A bet placed and confirmed before the connection dropped stands and settles normally; a bet you were still placing when it dropped never registered. If the dealer's round completed while you were offline, the outcome applies either way — the table doesn't wait.
The one genuine grey area is a deposit made in the seconds before an outage. The money may have left your account without the balance updating. Don't retry it. Wait an hour, check the balance again, and if it's still missing take the transaction reference to support. Retrying is how people end up depositing twice.
If you were mid-withdrawal: a submitted request lives server-side and keeps processing whether you can reach the site or not. Timings are on the withdrawal times page.
Diagnose it in 60 seconds
Switch to mobile data
Turn wi-fi off on your phone and load the site over 4G or 5G. If it works, the problem is your home network or your ISP's DNS — not the casino. This single test resolves most reports we get.
Open a private window
A stale session cookie or cached script will happily serve you a blank page for days. Incognito bypasses both. If the private window works, clear cookies for the site in your normal browser.
Disable VPN and ad blockers
A VPN exit node in a restricted country triggers a hard geo-block, and blockers routinely break game iframes and the live chat widget. Turn both off and reload before you conclude anything.
Change your DNS
Australian ISPs block a long list of offshore gambling domains at the DNS layer under ACMA direction. Setting a public resolver on your device usually tells you within seconds whether that's what you're hitting.
Still stuck after all four? At that point it's worth contacting support — and worth having the exact time, the error code, a screenshot and which of these four you already tried. That turns a two-day back-and-forth into one reply.
Error codes and what they mean
| What you see | What it actually means | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Error 1020 / Access denied | Geo or security rule rejected your IP | Turn off VPN and proxies, reload |
| Error 522 / 524 | Server didn't answer in time — genuinely their side | Wait 10–15 minutes and retry |
| DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN | Your resolver won't return the address | Change DNS or use mobile data |
| ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT | Network path blocked or dropped | Try another network before anything else |
| Blank page after login | Cached script or stale session | Private window, then clear site cookies |
| Games grey, site loads fine | One provider's servers are out, not the casino | Play a title from another studio |
| Session expired on every login | Clock skew or blocked third-party cookies | Fix device time, allow cookies for the site |
| Cashier won't open | Payment processor outage, or unfinished verification | Check email for document requests |
Deposit failures that aren't outages are covered on the payment methods page.
Outage log
Incidents we've been able to confirm or that readers reported in numbers. We add to this rather than overwriting it, so you can see the pattern rather than a snapshot.
26 August 2026 — game lobby partially down
~2 hoursOne provider's titles failed to launch while the rest of the lobby worked normally. Site, login and cashier unaffected.
4 August 2026 — site unreachable for some ISPs
~6 hoursReports clustered around a handful of Australian providers while mobile data worked fine — a DNS-level block rather than a platform outage.
8 July 2026 — cashier timeouts
~90 minutesCard deposits timed out at the 3D Secure step. PayID and crypto continued working throughout.
31 May 2026 — scheduled maintenance
~45 minutesAnnounced in advance, overnight AEST. Balances and pending withdrawals were unaffected.

Fixes by symptom
Site won't load at all
Mobile data first. If that works, it's DNS — change your resolver or use a different network. If it fails there too, it's likely a real outage; wait 15 minutes.
Loads but won't log in
Private window, then check caps lock and the email address you registered with. Repeated failures can trigger a temporary lock that clears in 15–30 minutes.
Games won't launch
Try a title from a different studio. If only one provider's games fail, it's their servers. If all of them fail, disable your ad blocker — it's probably killing the game iframe.
Balance looks wrong
Hard refresh before panicking — the header often caches. Check the transaction history rather than the header number, and don't re-deposit to "fix" it.
Live chat won't open
Almost always a blocker or a privacy extension. Whitelist the site or use a private window with extensions disabled.
Works on phone, not on desktop
Your home router's DNS versus your carrier's. Same fix as symptom one — change the resolver on the desktop or the router.
What players report
Reader reports and paraphrased forum posts. Individual experience varies.
"Wouldn't load on the NBN all night, worked instantly on my phone. Changed the DNS on the router and it's been fine since."
Reader report — Newcastle, NSW · 7 Aug 2026
"Lost connection mid free spins and assumed the round was gone. Logged back in an hour later and it picked up exactly where it left off."
Reader report — Gold Coast, QLD · 14 Aug 2026
"Blank white page after login for two days. Turned out to be my ad blocker after an update. Incognito would have told me that straight away."
Reader report — Canberra, ACT · 20 Aug 2026
"Deposit went through right as the cashier fell over. Balance updated about forty minutes later. Glad I didn't send it twice."
Reader report — Hobart, TAS · 29 Aug 2026
What changed over the past year
Access problems for Australians have shifted from being casino-side to being network-side. A year ago the typical complaint was a slow lobby; now it's a domain that resolves for one ISP and not another, which is what DNS-level blocking looks like from the outside.
The practical consequence is that "is it down" and "can I reach it" have become two different questions. The site can be perfectly healthy and still be unreachable from your lounge room. That's why the checks above start with the network rather than the casino.
On the platform side, the cashier is noticeably more stable than it was — the timeouts that used to cluster around card deposits are much less frequent since the processor changes. Crypto and PayID have been the most reliable rails throughout, which is one more reason they're what we suggest on the payments page.
